Anne Broaddus Sydnor

March 14, 1938 - August 5, 2025

Anne Christian Broaddus Sydnor, 87, passed away on August 5, 2025. She was the daughter of Jackson Aubrey Broaddus and Nettie May Broaddus and was predeceased by her brothers, James A. Broaddus and John E. Broaddus, and by her beloved husband of 60 years, the Rev. Dr. Clement A. Sydnor, III (Kim). Anne was raised in Sandston, Virginia and graduated from Highland Springs High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the Medical College of Virginia. She loved being a nurse and was a blessing to her patients.

Anne was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and (especially) grandmother. She is survived by her son, Clement A. Sydnor IV, his wife, Kelly, and their sons, Quint and Cole (Charisma); her daughter, Anne Christian Ogden, her husband, Dave, and their children, Jansen (Clarissa), Jordan, and Skylar; and her son, Jonathan Paul Sydnor, his wife, Abigail Henrich, and their children, Josiah, Isaac, and Lydia.

Throughout her life, as a family member, nurse and friend, Anne served God with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength. In addition to serving God by serving others, she enjoyed travel, history, bridge, and playing games with her grandchildren.
