Anthony Joseph D'Esposito

September 4, 1944 - March 23, 2025

Anthony Joseph D'Esposito, age 80, lost his battle with dementia on March 23, 2025, in Powhatan, Va. Anthony worked in the diesel mechanics field for most of his working life. Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ. He then resided in Lake Hopatcong, NJ, until moving to Virginia in 1982. Anthony also fixed and built homes, including his own. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, always looking for the next big bass. He will be remembered for his quick wit and love of his Italian heritage.

He survived by his wife of 60 years, Joanne; his daughter, Susan and her husband, Brian; his son, Michael and his wife, Tina; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Angela, and Tony; and his sister, Rose Marie. He is predeceased by his parents, Michael and Anne; and his sister Rachael Anne.

May the four winds blow you safely home.
