Arlene Paris Obituary
Arlene Tweedy Paris, 94, of Henrico, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026. She was born on August 9, 1931 to the late John Tweedy and Rosa Miles Tweedy. Arlene was the loving wife of the late Leonard A. Paris, Sr. In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Paris Bennett; three brothers; and six sisters.
She is survived by her son, Leonard Paris, Jr; granddaughter, Paris Elysse Bennett; and a host of nieces and nephews that were very close to her.
Arlene was employed with C&P Telephone Company for many years. She took pride and enjoyed maintaining her yard and flower borders. She also enjoyed knitting many beautiful sweaters, hats, baby blankets, and prayer blankets that she shared with many friends, family members, and her church family.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Westhampton Memorial Park.

I´m so sorry to read this news! Arlene and my mother were good friends until my mother´s passing many years ago. I have so many nice memories from that time. Please accept my sincere condolences. Arlene was a lovely person.
