DORIN, Barbara Wood Traynham, 73, resident of The Virginia Home, died January 6, 2023. She is survived by her brother, H. Scott Traynham and his wife, Carla Cousins Traynham; two nieces, Meredith Traynham Smart (Taylor) and Anne Whitney Traynham Baldwin (Stephen); great-niece and nephew, Raleigh Elizabeth Baldwin and Robert Scott Smart. Barbara was a graduate of Collegiate School '67 and the University of Georgia. She bravely fought multiple sclerosis with her feisty, fearless attitude. The Virginia Home has truly been her home for 22 years. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bliley's – Central, 3801 Augusta Ave. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to The Virginia Home, 1101 Hampton Street, Richmond, Va. 23220.
