Barbara Lynn "Bobbi" Peddicord (née Smith), 76, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025, in Richmond, Va.-the city where she was born on the same day in 1949. Her life came full circle in the place she called home, surrounded by the love of family and memories that spanned generations. Bobbi was the beloved daughter of Madeline "Mema" H. Smith and William "Pop Pop" A. Smith, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also predeceased by her devoted husband, John Peddicord, and her cherished sister, Terry S. Reeves. Throughout her life, Bobbi was known for her loving spirit, generous heart, and infectious sense of fun. She found immense joy in traveling with family and friends, often planning adventures that brought everyone together. Her passion for all things Disney added a special sparkle to these journeys-whether it was sailing on Disney Cruise Lines or simply sharing Disney-themed treasures with those she loved. Bobbi's warmth and kindness touched many lives, especially within her close-knit family. She is survived by her brother, William A. Smith Jr., who shared a lifelong bond with her; her sister-in-law, Amy Smith, and her brother-in-law, Ronnie Reeves. Her legacy continues through her nieces and nephews, Lacey R. Pierce (Alex), William A. "Andy" Reeves (Skyla), Kellen S. Caldwell (Steve), Ryann A. Smith, Nicolas W. Smith, Jacob C. Kirschner, and Noah G. Smith. She also leaves behind a new generation of great-nieces and great-nephews who brought joy to her later years, Maddy Pierce, Conrad Pierce, Opie Pierce, Annabel Pierce, Letty Reeves, Greyson Caldwell, Christian Blue, Zane Caldwell, Jackson Caldwell, Aubrey Smith, Leighton Smith-and many more loved ones whose lives were brightened by Bobbi's laughter and love. A private graveside service honoring Bobbi's life will be held at Westhampton Cemetery . May Barbara Lynn "Bobbi" Peddicord's memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
