To Ben's Family

Our hearts were sad to hear of the loss of Ben. His memory will always be with us. We all grew up in the old neighborhood of (Jackson Ward)as friends and we played & attended schools together. We even crossed paths as adults from time to time. Our prayers are with all of you, his sister, his brothers, his daughter, Nadia and other relatives and friends. It's never easy to lose a love one but, its always comforting to know that others share in your loss. God Bless each of you and stay in prayer because God heals all wounds and eases all pain in time. Ben is in a better place than we are right now. God needed him more so remember he left a legacy and his work is done.

Nadia,

Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your father. The bond between a father and daughter is very special and cannot be compared to none other. Take comfort in that your father was able to watch you grow into a beautiful young woman and best of all, a wonderful mother to Morghan. You stood by him when he needed you the most. The feeling of loss may be overwhelming but it won't last always. Pull your strength from the Lord for He will never let you down.

"Life is journey, not a destination"

~ from whoever said it.

Benjamin, I was just thinking about you on Saturday and our first time riding to New York (we had to be about 12 or 13 years old). I always said if I had a son, his name would be Benjamin-I just like the name and it fit you to a Tee. I will always remember the great times we shared (as children and adulthood). You are so vivid standing next to me on our Albert Hill Class picture; and I dare speak of the fun we had in high school and in the basement of City Hall (I know you're LOL by now). You've had an indelible impact on my life and I thank the Creator that we met through this journey. I pray that your family and dear friends find serenity in your passing simply because your spirit has always been serene. I will always have the best memories of you; and I'll see to it that you are memorialized at our 30th Class Reunion this year. Sincerely,

Bobby Lewis

Nadia,

It is our prayer that your memories of your father will provide you with comfort. Though the memories will last a life time, we have no words to adequately express our love for you or how much we wish there was something we could do to ease the pain that you must be feeling right now. Remember that time heals all wounds while leaving a scar and memories that will remain in your heart forever. May the peace of God be with you at this difficult time.

Always know that Uncle Mann is just a phone call away.
