Bernard Patrick "Pat" O'Donnell, Jr., 78, of Mechanicsville, passed away September 25, 2025. Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Patrick O'Donnell, Sr. and Amelia Cardelino O'Donnell. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty C. O'Donnell; sons, Brian O'Donnell and partner Robert Gavin, Scott O'Donnell and partner Dana Kennedy; granddaughter, Amanda O'Donnell Didlake (Clinton); great-grandchildren, Lincoln Didlake and Finley Didlake; sister, Robin Melton (Robert); nephew, Cody Melton and brother, Michael J. O'Donnell (Judy).
Family and friends will be received 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Bliley's Funeral Home, 3801 Augusta Ave., where a celebration of Pat's life will begin at 11 a.m. A reception will follow at 1 p.m., at Shady Grove UMC, 8209 Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pat's memory to The Cullather Center c/o Bon Secours Foundation or Shady Grove UMC, Mechanicsville.
