Bo, its hard to find words to describe how I feel. You know we go back to bout 9 or 10. I could never imagine that this could happen to a person with a heart as big as yours. I’m sorry for waiting so long to talk to you but I know you’re still listing. To this day I still watch the tapes of when we played for Hotchkiss. You was always my dog, and always will be. I know you’re up there looking over us, and my prayers go out to your family. I’ll always remember you BO!! R.I.P.

Hey Bo, none of this seems real to me. It all feels like dream. I really miss you and I wish I could have seen you once more. You were always like a little brother to me. I wish this never happened to you but I have peace in knowing that you are with our Father and He can take care of you better than anyone can. To Janice and family, my first cousins, Bo was a loyal cousin very intellegent in all his ways, respectful in everyone's presence, supportive whenever it was needed. I was and still is hurting in unbelief to hear of our lost. Bo is all the above in being a young man to all. Family be strong and know where our joy comes from, for the JOY of the LORD is our SRENGHT. For we will see him again on the other side of the pearly gates, for to be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD. I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Bert. Today, it still seems unreal. Who would have thought that four years would have passed so quickly. Even though Bert is gone, the memories that have been shared will remain with each of us always. Be glad, he is resting now, preparing a comforting place for us. The Bible tells us that, "Weeping may indureth for a night, but joy shall come in the morning". Your hearts may ache today, but they will rejoice tomorrow knowing that he is with his heavenly father.

I remember standing on the side line as a Cheerleader and the other girls cheering the Justices on and cheering Bo on as he would run the ball. Bo will be truly missed but always remembered. Bert was indeed a fine gentleman. He was well respected by his teachers and peers at Marshall. During my tenure at Marshall High, it was an honor to have Bert in homeroom #117 throughout all four years of his high school career. There were only twelve students assigned to the homeroom by the time Bert had reached his junior and senior years at Marshall. We were indeed a family. We are deeply sad by his loss. He will be greatly missed.
