Beverly Clay "Mole" Taylor Sr.

1935 - 2023

TAYLOR, Beverly Clay "Mole" Sr., 87, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 27, 2023. Survivors are his wife of 64 years, Patsy Bower Taylor; his loving family who have cared for him at his home these last 16 months. Daughter, Cynthia T. Hester (David); sons, Beverly Jr. (fiancée Nancy) and James (Rita); granddaughters, Heather Griffin (Michael) and Jacquelyn Taylor and her mother, Teresa M. Taylor; three great-grandchildren, Naomi, Gabriel and Eden Griffin; sister-in-law, Cecile C. Taylor; sisters, Jo Anne Spraker, Jane Tilley, June Redford (Ron); and brother, Raymond Taylor (Karen); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey Lawrence Taylor Sr. and Helen Spencer Taylor; brothers, Aubrey Jr. and Robert Bruce Taylor. He was a member of the Chesterfield Tractor Club, served as a volunteer for Chesterfield County Fair and was a member of local 666 Electrical Union for 65 years plus. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Services, 6500 Iron Bridge Road. He was a longtime member of Berean Baptist Church, 2914 Cogbill Road, North Chesterfield, Va. 23234, where services will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
