Charles Conrad Green, 66, transitioned at Trellis Supportive Care in Winston-Salem, N.C., on Saturday, September 6, 2025. He was born on December 10, 1958, in Quinton, Va., to the late Mary Osborne Green and Rev. Dr. Calvin Coolidge Green. Mr. Green graduated from New Kent High School in New Kent, Va. Mr. Green received his Bachelor's Degree from James Madison University and his Master's Degree from N.C. A&T. Hundreds of student athletes were coached by Mr. Green and many more learned driving safety and education during his 42 year career in North Carolina school systems.
Mr. Green is survived by his three children and seven grandchildren; brothers, Robert Green (Gail) of Chesterfield, Va., and Anthony Green (Michelle) of Toano, Va.; and beloved nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 11:30 a.m. at Salem Funeral Home, 2951 Reynolda Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27106. The memorial service will be livestreamed at www.salemfh.com.
In addition to cards and plants, the family would like donations to be made to the Colorectal Cancer Equity Foundation.

Condolences to Conrad Green family. Conrad and my older brother Frank E. Christian, Jr. are now reunited. They were great friends and played football together at New Kent High. Conrad's father was my Sunday School Teacher at Second Liberty Baptist Church. His day was an excellent Sunday School Teacher.

I worked with Conrad at East Forsyth and he coached 2 of my sons. He was a wonderful role model for young men and a great colleague. My condolences to the family. May you find comfort in memories of your Dad and grandfather.
