Carolyn Lea Bilski, whose radiant smile and joyful spirit touched everyone she met, passed away peacefully at home in Gilbert, Ariz., on August 8, 2025, surrounded by family. She was 87.
She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Bilski and devoted mother to four children. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jennifer L. Bilski of White Plains, N.Y.; her son, Doug and daughter-in-law, Lisa of Midlothian, Va.; and her son, Brad and daughter-in-law, Amber of Gilbert. Carolyn was preceded in death by her son, Brian K. Bilski. She was a proud "Grammie" to four grandchildren, Emma Bilski of Oakland, Calif., and Davis, Hannah, and Ryan Bilski of Gilbert.
At the heart of Carolyn's life was her family, friends, and faith. She shared kindness, comfort, and a welcoming smile with everyone she encountered. Her passions included her faith, quilting, crafting, and a lifelong love of Irish Setters.
A memorial service will be held at Bliley's-Chippenham Funeral Home, 6900 Hull Street Rd, Richmond, VA, on October 18, 2025, at 11 a.m., with a reception to follow. A private interment at Dale Memorial will be held that afternoon. Service will be available for online viewing at https://boxcast.tv/view/carolyn-lea-bilski-u82lo9nkmaj38cbzonyz.
