Charles Martin Obituary
Born on May 30, 1937 in Omaha, Nebraska, he grew up in Huntington, West Virginia and graduated from Marshall University in 1960. He went on to serve his country with honor in the United States Coast Guard for two years.
Charles is survived by his wife, Evelyn Cupido Martin; his daughter, Lisa Martin Ramus (Ronald); and his grandchildren, Joseph Arthur Ramus (Sadie), Katherine Helen Ramus, and Gabrielle Elizabeth Ramus. He is also survived by his sister, Sally Martin Sperberg (Sidney).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles William Martin, Sr. and Emily Broderick Martin, as well as his sister, Barbara Martin Brandenburg ("Pat").
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 4491 Springfield Road, Glen Allen, VA, on October 24, 2025, at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in Charles's memory.
