Charles Rudasill Obituary
After graduating from Virginia Tech and serving in the U.S. Army, Charlie had a long and accomplished career in engineering and management positions with Dominion Energy. He was widely traveled and greatly enjoyed the outdoors. Before moving to Cedarfield, Charlie was an active member of the Centenary United Methodist Church in Richmond. After moving to Cedarfield, he became actively involved with Discovery United Methodist Church.
A private memorial service will be held at Cedarfield to be live streamed to its residents. Contributions may be made in Charlie's memory to the Samaritan Program, which provides benevolent assistance to residents in need, by sending payment to Pinnacle Living, 5101 Cox Road, Suite 225, Glen Allen, Va. 23060 and designating your gift for the Samaritan Program.

Betty, I deeply regret never properly thanking Charlie for his enduring friendship and continuing to make time to see my father, William (Bill) Royall before his passing. I fondly remember staying with you and Charlie when I came to Richmond area to visit my father. You and Charlie always went out of way to uplift others. I will always remember Charlie's tremendous sense of humor and contagious laughter. I remain deeply grateful for his steadfast visitation of my father. You both remain a blessing in my life.
I understand that Charlie was overseas when father passed in October of 1994 at the VA Hospital on Broadrock Road. I apologize for being remission in not contacting you both long before now.
My mother passed in June of 2020 in Florida.
I now reside in Winchester.

Betty, I have fond memories of you and Charlie at many pig roasts. I pray that you will know the peace of God as you mourn the loss of Charlie. He was one of the good guys!
