Charles Thorpe Obituary
Charles is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Marianne Walker Thorpe; seven children, James K. Thorpe, Jerry A. Thorpe, Charlotte Thorpe, Margaret Thorpe, George Gallimore, Michael Gallimore, and Ashley Gallimore, and numerous grandchildren.
Charles served his country for twenty-two years in the United States Air Force. He achieved the rank of CMSgt. and also received two Meritorious Service Medals.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, November 28, 2025, in Concord Baptist Church, Charlotte Court House, VA, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Charlotte County Rescue Squad, P O Box 330, Keysville, VA 23947. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
