Dear Janet, Bill, Jason, and Jennifer,
My sincere condolences on the loss of Chris. I know how important he is to all of you. I fondly rember the times we spent together in our childhood at Santa's Village and at the Selbka farm in Lemont, and other outings. Peace to you during this difficult time.

I was so shocked to hear on the news that 2 FBI Agents had died in a terrible helicopter accident. To see the face of one of those men just makes it more real and shocking. My heart goes out to his family, friends, and colleagues. He was such a young person learning the skills required to help protect their nation. I am so sorry for your loss. Wishing his family all the support they need to help them through this sad time.

To the Lorek family, I'm deeply sorry for your terrible loss. I never got to meet Chris, but I certainly feel a kinship with him. I, too, am an FBI agent and my family and I are members of the Twickenham church of Christ. I worked with Chis at the Milwaukee FBI office. He always had a pleasant smile and a friendly hello whenever I saw him. Embrace the memories of a terrific husband, father, son, brother and friend. I will keep Chris and his family in my prayers. May he rest in peace.

I had the honor and privilege of serving with Chris on the Milwaukee SWAT team. Chris was the ultimate team player and a great patriot. Chris epitomized service over self. He was held in the highest regard in the Milwaukee office. Please accept my condolences for his loss.
