Claude Napier Obituary
Claude spent more than 20 years with the Federal Highway Administration and later served as Assistant State Structure & Bridge Engineer for VDOT. He also served over 20 years in the U.S. Army Reserve, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel.
He met life's challenges with quiet strength, including his journey with Inclusion Body Myositis, and cherished time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Brenda Strickler Napier; daughter, Carolyn Napier Lesser (Steve); son, Scott Napier (Dominick Laddy); grandsons, Zachary and Aaron Lesser; and siblings, Frances Wyant (Ray) and Clyde Napier (Mary). He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Sr. and Anna Napier.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home – Huguenot Chapel, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, VA.
