Clyde Wright Obituary

Departed this life November 5, 2005, Clyde R. Wright of 2911 Moss Side Avenue. He was preceded in death by his parents, Garland and Queen Victoria Wright Sr.; two sisters, Meleine Tillar and Helen V. Wright; two brothers, Eurvin and Garland Wright Jr.; stepson, Kenneth Williams. He is survived by his loving wife, Ocie Williams Wright; one daughter, Wanda Wright; two sons, Clyde D. and Michael R. Wright; three stepchildren, Melvin, Deborah and Toney Williams; 11 grandchildren, Raven, Carmen, Brandon, Michael Jr., Courtney, India Wright, Tony, Shayla and Shatora Williams, Mckenzie Johnson and Qu'ron Dandridge; two sisters, Rementha Odom and Mollie Jean Holmes; two brothers, Charles and Earl Wright; three aunts, Mary Moore, Naomi Plunkett and Amelia Carvington; one uncle, Joe Nathan Wright; several nieces, nephews and cousins; three daughters-in-law, Ronda, Relonda Wright and Grinza Williams; two sisters-in-law, Pauline G. and Ethel V. Wright; three brothers-in-law, Roy Odom, Ernest Holmes and David Tiller; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011-2049 Grayland Avenue, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Wednesday, 11 a.m., from Antioch Baptist Church, Emporia, Virginia. Rev. Richard Webb, pastor. Rev. Sherman Wright officiating. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens, Hanover County, Va. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 9 a.m. Wednesday.
