ROBINSON, Colonel T., 96, of Richmond, Virginia, transcended into the Heavenly realm to be with God and his beloved wife of 74 years, Esther Robinson, on October 18, 2021. He was preceded in transition by his parents, James and Flossy Robinson; his brothers, Ethelbert "Ned" Robinson, Philip "Corneda" Robinson, Jesse Robinson; and his daughter, Arnetta Robinson. Colonel loved his family and friends deeply. He leaves behind two devoted sons, Mario Robinson Sr. (Tamrah) and Keith Robinson (Debra); a daughter-in-love, Carla "Cookie" Jones; three grandchildren, Mario Robinson Jr., Kandace Jones and Christopher Robinson; sister, Shelia Robinson; a devoted niece, Yvonne Harrison; brother-in-law, William Stokes; devoted neighbors, Ron and Charlene Herman; goddaughters, Michelle Reed and Michelle Wilder. He was the patriarch of the neighborhood and leaves behind beloved neighbors, Sidney and Savilla Parker and Matthew and Brenda Melvin. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St., where family will receive friends on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.

It was so heartbreaking to hear of the passing of your father. I have so many childhood memories of both your mother and father. No matter how old we are, it´s always hard to lose a parent.
