Daisy Keys Obituary

Daisy M. Keys, 85, of Ruther Glen, Va., departed this life on Friday, November 15, 2002 at her residence. Born in Caroline County, she was a member of Jericho Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Joanne (James) Simms of Ruther Glen, Va., and Jacqueline Taylor of Upper Marlboro, Md.; one son, Archie (Francine) Melvin Keys Jr. of Ruther Glen, Va.; one sister, Lucille Fields; ten grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. Her remains rest at the Henry W. Dabney Funeral Home, 518 N. Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va., where the family will receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Jericho Baptist Church, Ruther Glen, with Rev. Glen Leverette officiating. Interment church cemetery. Guest book online at www.legacy.com. Joann, Melvin, Jackie and other family members, I share with you in the loss of your beautiful Mom. She was God's gift to you and now He has reclaimed her. She lived a long beautiful life and is now at rest. Cherish the memory that you have of her and know that God will in time ease the pain that you now feel. Look to Him for your strength, and He surely will supply all of your needs.
