In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Florence I am soooo sorry that you lost your only son. I hope you find comfort in knowing Darius is in a better place looking down on you being so proud of have how much strength you have. Peace and Blessings always!

A whole year has passed yet it doesnt seem like the pain will ease up! As humans we always have a tendency of "wishing you back" but you are truthfully in a better place with a more important job to do! A whole year has passed yet the memory of how your smile could light up a room hasnt faded and puts a smile on my face eveverytime I think of you...which is more often than one can imagine! Keep smiling down on us and giving your mom strength! I love you and miss you but memories can never be taken away! Love, Malika

I still cant believe that your gone. You was a close friend since child hood and like a little brother to me. We had alot of fun growing up. One thing i can say is you was one of a kind. I miss u and love u like family. You will never be forgotten.

I was shocked to see this and I didnt know..I'm so sorry.and I will always remember Darius's smile, and his quiet nature. He knew me as Mrs Gibson at Mt Vernon Middle school. May The peace of god surround you and your family..
