My brother was Grizzly Adams wrapped around the soul of Winnie the Pooh, tough yet sweet. He was just as likely to laugh off a compliment as he was to come over and help you build a porch. He was a good man who loved his wife, family, friends, Nascar, football and good food. He used to cook with gusto!
Darrell lived a life fulfilling his earthly mission. His compassion for others in need was evident. We will miss him dearly and love him always. I will especially miss my holiday visits to celebrate. They will remain cherished memories.
Love,

Darrell was always a good brother to me. When Paul passed, Darrell helped me with so many things. He had a good heart and he will always be very special to me forever.

To Darrell“s family: I knew him as a good man on the gun hobby website we both frequent. I was impressed by his sensibility and even temper. I was further impressed by his concern for a neighbor and his work setting up an effort to fix up her house. Obviously, many more people will have a deeper experience to share, but this is all I need to regret not having him around. I am very sorry for your loss.
