David A. Catogni Jr.

CATOGNI David A. Catogni Jr., 82, of Chesterfield, passed away August 13, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lois Wilkins Catogni; son, Donald E. Catogni; daughters, Nancy C. Cothran and Sue C. Hinkle; and their spouses; six grandchildren, Dawn and Joey Cothran, Traci Whitley, Donald Jr. and Josh Catogni, and Caroline Hinkle; sister, Marie Fulcher; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Catogni was a loving father and devoted husband. He was a graduate of Benedictine High School, an Army Air Corp veteran of WWII, serving in the 15th Air Force 449th Bomb Group in Italy and was retired from the Commonwealth of Virginia Bridge Office. His family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Edward's Catholic Church. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
