David Davidson Obituary

DAVIDSON, David Stephen "Stevie", 45, of Ashland, Va., passed away on February 23, 2022 and has moved on, joining mom and his brother to pursue his eternal life journey of hunting, fishing and an occasional round of poker and pool. He was predeceased by his mother, Marie Theresa Davidson, Ashland, Va.; and brother, James Robert "Bobby" Davidson, Ashland, Va. He is survived by his father, David Shirley Davidson, Marion, Va.; brothers, Darrell S. Davidson (Cindy), Daniel S. Davidson (Tammy); his life partner, Stephanie C. Salter; his children, Sebastian, Alexis, Wyatt and his mother, Dana; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Stephen was an amazing father, partner and friend. He shared his love of hunting, taking the kids on random road trips and teaching them how to swim. They loved his drawing pictures for them to color in and conveyed to them how wonderful the world is and how they can be anything they put their minds to. Stephen worked for the town of Ashland for more than 15 years and took a lot of pride in his role with the town and made a lifetime of friendships. His young heart and sole will be so missed by so many!!! A gathering in memory of Stevie will be held at a later date.

I offer my deepest condolences to the family, friends, and co-workers that are grieving Stevie's passing. He was an excellent public servant, colleague, and friend.

My heartfelt condolences to Stephen's family (we called him Stephen at the Town of Ashland). We will miss him terribly at work. He was so mult-talented, interested and had a great diposition. He and I started work at about the same time, so I've never know working for the Town without him.
