David Bryan McCoy

MCCOY, David Bryan, 66, of Chester, Va., passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Janice McCoy; and his brother, Larry Douglas McCoy. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Susan H. McCoy; two daughters, Angela and Stacy McCoy; a sister, Deborah Baker (Chuck); two sisters-in-law, Linda Tomlin (Hank) and Amy-Lyn Hawk Matthews (Jamie); and one brother-in-law, Richard Hawk (Janice); four nieces, Camden Doran (Daron), Ashley Bennett (Sam), Christine Hawk and Lisa Maddas; one nephew, Stephen Hawk; two great-nieces and three great-nephews. David retired from Henrico County in 2008 after many years of dedicated service. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
