Doris Lucy Crowder

CROWDER Doris Lucy Crowder, 97 of Richmond, died Friday, August 4, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, J.B. DeBerry Crowder. She is survived by a brother, Allen L. Lucy; sister, Carroll L. Runge; two nephews, Bill Runge and Jon Lucy; two nieces, Peggy Childress and Diane Wrick. Mrs. Crowder was a very active member of Varina Episcopal Church, where through the years, her generous contributions touched many of the members. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 8, in Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Varina Episcopal Church Memorial Fund.
