Dorothy Gilliam Obituary

GILLIAM, The Rev. Dorothy Mae, 80, of Columbia, Va. departed this life on April 5, 2021 in Columbia, Va. She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Gilliam Sr., son, Robert Gilliam Jr.; four daughters, Sheila Johnson (Ike Sr.), Loretta Waddy (Deacon Chris), Terrie Tobias and Minister Linda Johnson-Gilliam; 14 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A public viewing will take place on Sunday, April 11, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home in Cumberland, Va. Graveside services will be held at Pleasant View Baptist Church, Columbia, Va. on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 1 p.m. Reverend Clifford Temple Sr., pastor officiating. Reverend Andrew Jackson Jr., eulogist. www.mariangray
