To the children of Mrs Dot Smith, one of the sweetest ladies, ever. I was at the memorial service yesterday on the 24th and you could feel your mom there, in the Pastors she choose to lead, in the scripture she choose, especially the , Tell Jesus poem that was read, the songs( the sweet old songs), the granddaughter who spoke in her honor, even our church member,Debbie, who spoke....and then the many members who aren´t even in our church anymore, who came to honor our sweet Miss Dot. I loved your mom and I am so grateful you shared her with me and how she made my life better. My sweet friend taught me...how to share GOD in both the good times in our health and the bad. I miss her soooo much and yet, I know she´s not in any pain anymore and with your dad. Blessings to all of you and know she was loved by many.

My prayers are with Ms. Dot´s family during this time. She was a faithful friend to my Grandparents, Eugene and Ruby Jones, especially in their later years. I have fond memories of enjoying Ms. Dot´s delicious yeast rolls during our holiday meals. She was always thinking of others and serving God. May her light continue to shine bright from heaven for all eternity.

Dorothy Mae has been a wonderful friend for the last 25 years. We were neighbors of her sister and became fast friend with Dorothy. She was a strong, dedicated, and caring person we loved spending time with. She could bake the best rolls and always made sure we were well stocked. She had a deep faith and gave her all to her family as well as her friends and church. She will be forever loved.

My condolences to her entire family. She was a kind and caring person. I loved our many visits where we would talk about "the good old days" and just laugh. She loved her family and spoke of them often. She will be missed not only by me, but many other longtime friends. Love you, Ms Dot!!
