Edith Barnette Obituary
Edith Jacqueline "Jackie" (Allgood) Barnette, 86, passed away February 27, 2026. Born June 18, 1939, she was preceded in death by her husband, A. Francis Barnette, Jr., and her parents, Archie and Jeanette Allgood.
She is survived by her children, Barry Barnette (Kristie) and Mary Winslow (David); grandchildren, Justin and Ashleigh Barnette, Allison and Caleb Winslow; sister, Paula Oslin; and extended family.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 5, at 12:30 p.m. at New Bethesda Baptist Church, 9019 New Bethesda Road, Mechanicsville, with visitation one hour prior. Entombment will follow at Signal Hill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Bethesda Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
