Edna Harding Obituary

Mrs. Edna Orene Harding, widow of Randolph (Dessy) Harding, died Saturday, January 14, 2006. She is survived by her son, R. Wayne Harding and his wife, Belle of Mechanicsville; two granddaughters, Debbie and her husband, Justin Crow of King William, and Lisa and her husband, Joey Kohler of Henderson, Nev.; two great-grandchildren, Emma and Adam Kohler; one sister, Kathleen Colvin of Spotsylvania, Va.; two brothers, Elton D. Jones and wife, Lucille of Spotsylvania, Va., and Edward T. Payne of Tappahannock, Va. Remains rest at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., where the family will receive friends Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Westhampton Memorial Park.

Edna was my grandmother's (Stella McKay) roommate at Libby's. I visited with Edna on several occasions and she was an absolute delight. I am very sorry for your loss- Edna will be greatly missed.
