Eleanora Goode Jeffreys Moore passed from this life on Friday, August 9, 2024.

Eleanora was born December 23, 1928 in Richmond, VA the daughter of Eleanor Kent Walthall and Robert Massie Jeffreys. She was raised in Richmond by her mother and stepfather, Delaney "Del" Walthall, and attended Westhampton School and Thomas Jefferson High School. She graduated from Stratford College, attended Richmond Polytechnic Institute, and later earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Eleanora taught art and art history at Bermuda Academy and taught private art lessons in her home for many years. She later studied pharmacy and worked as a Medication Technician at St. Mary's Hospital, Richmond in the 1980's until she retired. Eleanora was active and held offices in Pinedale Farms Garden Club, Stratford College Alumni Association and the Antique Study Group. She was also an active member of Tuckahoe Women's Club and a member of Virginia Historical Society and Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.

She is survived by three children; Charles Snead (Vickie) of Boyce, VA, Dell Rasley (Michael) of Richmond, and Jeff Stephens (Julie) of Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Barbara Jones, of Richmond; a special niece, Kelly Hagan; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Moore; her mother, Eleanor, and stepfather, Del; and one granddaughter.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Richmond.
