Ernest A. Gaines

GAINES Ernest A. Gaines, age 90, of Tappahannock, Va., died October 30, 2006. He was the former owner of Gaines Exxon Service Center and Gaines Firestone Dealer Store in Tappahannock, Va. He served as a member of the Tappahannock Town Council for over 20 years. Surviving are a host of relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. After 11 a.m. Friday, November 3, 2006, remains will rest in First Baptist Church, Tappahannock, Va., where the family will receive friends from 12 noon to 12:45 p.m., and where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Rev.
