We were so saddened when we heard the news. Mrs. Johnston was a beautiful person. She encouraged our children and treated them like they were her grandchildren. We have really missed talking to her. Our prayers are with you and your family during this time. Sending our love, The Taylor Family.

May God heal you as time seems to stand still. There can never be any words when you lose someone you love. A mother's love is the most important and unreplaceable love you can ever have. She has just the right words when you hurt your knee or just the right touch when you lose your first crush. A mother knows when your tummy hurts and how to let you know you are the best. A mother is a love and there will never be a mother like a mom. May our prayers and letting you know we are here for you and your family. Love the Dawson Family.

Hello Family- I just thought I would share. There was nothing better than a visit to see Great Aunt Popeye. She was always laughing, and telling me stories about when she was young and loads of advice. When I came back from grad school, Auntie was the one who persuaded me to apply for my teacher certification in Virginia. For all of her dedication to education, I can only hope that I made a difference, and added something to the fabric of a student's life.

I am sorry for your loss. She was my friend and my home girl. I loved it when she lived next door to me. She was so friendly and she loved people and Richmond History. I will miss her smile and just talking to her. GOD has her now and she is alright. Remember the good times you shared with her.
