AHLADAS, Eva-Maria, 58, of Glen Allen, Va., passed away following a courageous struggle against the illness which eventually took her life on Saturday, October 16, 2021. She is survived by John, her husband of 39 years; parents, Arthur and Ingrid Fano; brother, Hans; sister, Elisabeth; sisters-in-law, Deanna Ahladas, Deborah Ahladas, Gayle Fano; and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews.

During the past 10 years, Eva applied her considerable talents and energies to her students at Henry Clay Elementary School in Ashland, Hanover County, Virginia where the students, staff and faculty will remember her as an extraordinary teacher.

Time spent with her husband, rescues, Molly and Chrissy, the remainder of her family and friends plus her interests, reading, weaving, photography, pottery building, interior designing and antiquing, all of which she practiced too infrequently, gave Eva the greatest enjoyment.

The family will receive friends, 2 to 4 p.m. with a Trisagion Prayer Service to be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Bliley's - Central Chapel, 3801 Augusta Avenue, Richmond, Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making memorial contributions in her name to any of the following: Rikki's Rescue, P.O.
