Frances Robinson Obituary

Frances Pryor Robinson, 69, entered eternal peace on October 24, 2025, in Richmond, Virginia.

Born on December 22, 1955, Frances dedicated her life to caring for others. She retired as a Care Coordinator from the Hermitage Richmond Retirement Community, where she served with compassion and commitment. Her devotion to helping others extended beyond her professional life and was reflected in her deep connection to her family, friends, and faith.

Frances was a loving mother, wife, sister, and daughter. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gene Robinson; sons Christopher Pryor and Corey Pryor; parents Leontine Banks and James Pryor, Sr.; sisters Hannah Robinson, Lucy Pryor, and Shirley Pryor; and brother Michael Pryor.

She leaves behind a devoted family who will cherish her memory: her aunt Hazel Page; sisters Georgia White, Robin Underwood, and Bernice Pryor; brother James Pryor, Jr.; best friend of 36 years Liza Smith; godsons Rashad and Khadeim Smith; along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends whose lives were touched by her warmth and kindness.

A memorial service honoring Frances's life will be held at Koinonia Community Church, 3600 MoRand St., Richmond, VA 23224 on November 15th at 3 p.m.

May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.

My condolences to Frances family. My dearest friend. I will miss our conversations and my visits. Im so glad I got to care for you before our God called you to your resting place. I will continue to watch them Redskins/ Washington Commanders just for you. I texted you when they won and when they lost and you would ( Lol). I'm not going to say bye...but see you later. My prayers are with your family and all who loved you. I miss you Frances Truly Gwen..

I enjoyed taking care of you during my last visit and then God called you to home to your resting place. To the family of wonderful friend and co- worker of the Hermitage home Richmond. I have so many fund memories of Fances as we use to go out to different restaurants to spend time, share Christmas and celebrate our birthday days. Ftances also collected tea Potts something she enjoyed showing them off. It was Valerie, Cartina, Janice and myself Sonja.
