RIGGS, Frank Lewis, 70, of Chesterfield, Va., passed away suddenly and peacefully on April 2, 2023.

Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara Hickman and Roy Mason Riggs; stepfather, Thomas Hickman; and sister, Kathy Hickman. He is survived by his life partner, Teresa Donahue; his furbaby, Abby; his children, Billy, Kris (Kelly), Ryan (Ashley) and Alicia; his treasured grandchildren, Tyler, Emma Jean, Kristopher, Keegan, Kreed, Nevaeh, Ryleigh and Madison; brothers, Roy (Patricia) and Donnie (Kim); sister, Cindy (Robert); also many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Born and raised in Richmond, Va., it was often said that there wasn't a place on earth he would go where he didn't know someone or someone didn't know him. He was a beloved son, brother, dad, Papa, uncle, friend, confidante, mentor and coach. It is extremely difficult to put into words the impact this man had on so many - once you met him, he was a friend for life and loved everyone like they were family. He was always the first person we called with a question or a problem, he was Mr. Dependable in all avenues of life. While often the life of the party, he had the unique ability to be an active listener and made you feel like the most important person in a crowded room. He was always interested and always present. He loved a good joke and his stories of childhood mayhem and shenanigans will live on in infamy...as will his banana pudding.

A recurring response to his passing was one of surprise in that we all felt he would live forever. This superhuman of a person easily lived the lifetimes of many and now he can rest pain free and in the arms of those waiting for him in heaven.
