We are so very sorry for the loss of Gary. We visited his beautiful winery for the first time on my May 23rd Birthday, last year and had a special day hanging out with him and his friends on the peaceful front porch. His wife was working and was a wonderful host. It was definitely a memorable birthday that I will remember always. We were new to the area and felt so welcome. I had noticed that the winery was closed when I drove by but didn´t know why. When we found out today that Gary had suddenly passed away we were so very sad. He was quite a character and a fabulous wine maker. We will always remember our times there. Please accept our condolences for your family.

It is with the most humble admiration and respect humanly possible that I have for Gary, this man offered to me the opportunity to farm again. It was a blessing to spend several hours talking to him. His calm yet vibrant zeal for his family, his friends and the vineyard was a gift. I'm a better man because I met him. A stronger man because he encouraged me to never let my goals to go silent. To his wife and family, my most sincere condolences. You were truly blessed, and so were each of us that you shared him with. My days in the field rejuvenated me and I will carry his words and lessons with me, sharing them as I go.

Dear Tracy, Ann, Kelli, Ginny, Bryce, and Carrie

I am so sorry for your loss. When Tracey and I were teenagers, I always enjoyed being around Gary. He was kind, fun, and wasn´t bothered by a pack of girls. I hope lifelong, fond memories being you peace. XO, Sally

I was heartbroken to learn of Gary´s passing. He was a wonderful co-worker and a good friend. He was patient and hard working. Gary was one of the wisest people I´ve known and was willing to share his knowledge. He was kind and always willing to help someone out.

He will be missed by many.

My thoughts are with all who loved him. In our conversations, he spoke of his family so often. It was evident he loved you all so much.
