Gary Earl Kinney, Sr., 79, peacefully passed away December 3rd in Garland, Texas. He was born on March 9, 1946, in Cohoes, N.Y., to Earl and Adelle Kinney.
In 1968, he married Susan, with whom he raised two sons, Gary Jr. and David. In 1988 he married Cindy, and they shared many years together. Gary's greatest joy came from his growing family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who lovingly knew him as "Pop."
He was preceded by his parents and brother. He is survived by his sons, Gary Jr. and David; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a lifetime of friends touched by his strength, wit, and loyalty.
Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2025, at The West Chapel of The Bennett Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Waterford, N.Y. with his parents and brother.

Kinney Family,
Gary was my supervisor in payroll at National Wildlife Federation. He introduced me to a special group of people - my NWF family - many of whom I am still friends with today, including my husband! I have many fond memories of Gary - he helped make work fun! Sending sympathy to all.
