Gary Turner Obituary
Gary Leland Turner, 61, passed away December 21, 2025. He was born November 11, 1964, to Garland Linwood Turner, Sr. and Ann Ruth Johnson Turner. Throughout Gary's life, he worked as a dairy farmer. He also enjoyed pastimes such as hunting, fishing, restoring vintage automobiles, and wood carving.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived and loved by brothers, Garland Linwood "Lin" Turner, Jr., Gregory "Greg" Leon Turner, and Geoffrey Lyle "Lyle" Turner (Diana); sister, Kathryn "Kathi" Turner Hodge (Alan D. Hodge); nieces and nephews; extended family members of Oakmulgee Dairy Farm; and many loyal and very close friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Wilson Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m., before the funeral service. Online condolences may be conveyed to the family at www.jtmorriss.com.
