George Redd Obituary

REDD George C. Redd of Richmond, departed this life October 3, 2006 at McGuire Veterans Hospital. He is survived by his devoted wife, Constance D. Redd; devoted son, Terence L. Redd (Alfreda R.); one grandaughter, Serena K. Workman; one sister, Mary Turner; two sisters-in-law, Helen Cousins and Bernice Brown; two brothers-in-law, Sylvester and Douglas Brown; several nieces and nephews, devoted caretakers, Lolita Thomas and Sheila Garland; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at the Mimms Funeral Home, 19th and Hull Sts. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 5, 11:30 a.m. at Swansboro Baptist Church, 3801 Midlothian Tpke. Dr. Herbert R. Plummer, pastor officiating. Interment in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia County, Va.
