George D. Sally

SALLY, George D., peacefully passed away January 6, 2021, at the age of 78. George was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Ruth; his siblings, Leroy Sally, Herbert Sally, Edward Sally, Louis Sally, Willie Sally and Virginia Sally. He will be missed by numerous friends and family. George is survived by his wife, Gloria Jean Sally; his son, Mr. Curtis Haskins (Cheryl); daughter, Michelle Byrd; beloved grandchildren, Terrell, Sabrina, Michael and Mia; a host of siblings, Benjamin Sally (Viola), Ruth Phillips (Eddie), Margaret Saunders, Joyce Sally Scott; and a host of loving nephews and nieces; and many longtime friends, especially devoted, Joseph Swinson, James Keel and Bernard Massenburg, from whom he drew much encouragement and had many long phone conversations with. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street. A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Maury Cemetery.
