With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother-grandmother-great grandmother-sister-aunt, Gladys Sapp Lipscomb, of Richmond, Virginia, who departed from this world on December 14, 2024, at the age of 91. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 71 years, Nathaniel Hilton Lipscomb, Sr. Full of love, laughter, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her with her wisdom and unwavering faith in God. The wake and funeral service in her honor will take place on Saturday, December 28, 2024, 12:00 P.M. and 1:00 P.M. respectively, at St. John's Baptist Church, 917 Onslow Street, Durham, North Carolina 27705.
