Gloria Clark Obituary

CLARK, Gloria Ann Banks, 56, of King William, Va., departed this life August 10, 2007 at her residence. She is survived by her husband, Charles Lewis Clark; two daughters, Barbara McPhearson, Anastasia Clark, both of King William; one brother, Howard Banks; two sisters, Lucinda Berkeley of King William and Peggy Bowler of Aylett. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 18 at 2 p.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Church. Rev. Rueben S. Carter officiating. Interment in the Banks Family Cemetery, King William. Viewing will be August 17 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock, and from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church. Service of comfort entrusted to Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock.

She had such a warm spirit about her and we will truly miss her beautiful smiling face. Gloria is resting in a better place now no more suffering no more pain. To Red, Barbara and Family,

I wish to pass along by deepest sympathy in the passing your wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and for so many us friend. Please know that God never makes a mistake and he only takes the best. He will be your ever present strength during this time of mourning. I pray that the Lord will give you strength and know that he will never leave you. Call on Him and he will be there to supply your needs. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
