Goldie R. Troublefield Singleton

Goldie R. Troublefield Singleton, 91, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 21, 2003. She was the widow of Wesley Troublefield and Silas Singleton. Mrs. Singleton was preceded in death by a daughter, Delores T. Cunningham and granddaughter, Johnita C. Brown. She is survived by one son, Ross Troublefield Jr.; five grandchildren, John E. Cunningham Jr., Christie C. Mayo, Kenneth Troublefield, D. Karen Garland, Sandra T. Soto; a host of great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, John E. Cunningham Sr. Mrs. Singleton was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 25 years at the Richmond Nursing Home before retirement in 1974. She was an active parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church for 50 years and has been a member since the church’s inception. Remains rest at W.S. Watkins & Son Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, July 25, 2003, at 11 a.m. from Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Father Leo Gagnon officiating. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
