Guy Woodrum Obituary

WOODRUM, Guy Thomas, Guy Thomas "Tom" Woodrum, aged 80, of Midlothian, Virginia, peacefully passed away on February 23, 2024.

He has chosen cremation without a public service.

Tom was born on February 5th, 1944, in Frankfort, Kentucky, to Guy and Carolyn Woodrum. He was a veteran of the United States Air-Force and an accomplished Chemical Engineer in civilian life. His life was driven by integrity, honesty, and curiosity about the world around him. Tom exuded a delight over the great fortune that he felt to be alive.

He is survived by his former spouse, Jenny Woodrum, of Midlothian, Virginia; his daughter, Carrie Ann Woodrum, of Midlothian, Virginia; his son, Stephen Woodrum, of Georgetown, Kentucky, and his daughter-in-law, Amy D. Woodrum, also of Georgetown, Kentucky; his brother, James Woodrum, of Midway, Kentucky; his sister, Sue Zan Hearn, of Suwanee, Georgia; and his brother, William Butler Woodrum, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Tom also leaves behind three cherished grandchildren: Madison Noel Woodrum and Collin Nichols Woodrum, both of Georgetown, Kentucky, and Briley Grace Blackman of Midlothian, Virginia.

Tom will be remembered for his generosity, kindness, and love for his family. Though he may no longer be with us in person, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

May he rest in peace.
