In great sadness we mention the loss of Harley Edward Surber Jr. On October 18, 2024, he went to be with the Lord. Born on November 6, 1951, in Richmond Va. He was preceded in death by his son, William Edward Surber, Harley Edward Surber Sr. (father), Dorthy Anne Brown (mother). He leaves behind his loving wife, Susan Ford Surber; (son) Richard W. Surber (Erin); four grandchildren, Barrett, Savannah, Elliott, Forrest and Amanda Greer Hines (Dan), (sister) Debbie Ray, (brother) John Surber (Carolyn), (brother in-law) AJ Ford (Sonny), (sister in-law) Kathy Taylor, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Edward was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved everyone he came in contact with. Some of his greatest moments included riding his motorcycle, fishing, watching tv, and spending time with his grandkids. He loved to do things for other people in need so in his honor please pay it forward or donations to Elkhardt Babtist Church Richmond Va.
A memorial service will be held 12 p.m., Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Elkhardt Baptist Church 6715 Hull Street Rd. Richmond, Va. 23224.
