Hazel 'Atlee' Carter Randolph

Hazel "Atlee" Carter Randolph, 76 of Maidens, VA, departed this life peacefully on Thursday, December 11, 2025. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, Deacon Junius Carter and Lizzie Fleming Carter, and three sisters, Edith Carter Winston, Doris Carter Lester-Shaaba, and Julia Carter Quarles.

Left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband of 56 years, Deacon Willie Lee Randolph; four children, Iris (Flavian) Woodson, Delvin (Jessica) Randolph, Lee Carter (Jaime) Randolph, and Kalisha (Shawn) Jackson; and five grandchildren, Shelby (Austin) McKinsey, Cayla, Aiden, Braxton, and Abriyana Randolph. She was also blessed with one great-granddaughter, Ayla Rae McKinsey, whose middle name was lovingly given to her by her great-grandmother. She is survived by one sister, Florence Byrd; one brother, Marvin Russell (Angela) Carter; two devoted sisters-in-law, Elsie Hill and Gladys Willis; one brother-in-law, James Randolph; a devoted family friend, Nicole Anderson Preston; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Her remains rest at the Robert Mealy Funeral Home, Goochland, VA, where a viewing will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at First Union Baptist Church, Crozier, VA.
