Payne, Helen Banton, 84, of Glen Allen, went to be with the Lord on December 2nd. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael and her brother Clarence. She is survived by her husband David, her daughter Dana (Raymond), and granddaughter Ellen (Kyle) and siblings Charlie, Gertie and Joyce. She had a sweet spirit and was loved by all. She was a talented quilter and a great cook. There will be a visitation at Bliley's Staples Mill on Thursday, Dec. 11, 10:30 am to 12:30 pm with a graveside service following at Signal Hill Memorial Park at 2 pm.
