James Ingram Obituary

James "Jimmy" Ralph Ingram, Jr.

James "Jimmy" Ralph Ingram Jr., 79, of Glen Allen, VA, went to be with the Lord on August 1, 2024. Jimmy was born in Bluefield, West Virginia, on August 7, 1944. A long time resident of Glen Allen, VA, he held several truck driving and maintenance positions in the area. Jimmy served in the Marine Corps Reserves for several years in the 1960's. He enjoyed building models of aircraft and nautical vessels. He collected memorabilia from different areas. He was preceded in death by his father, James Ralph Ingram Sr; his mother, Gladys Dean Ingram; his sister, Janet Ingram Craft; and his brother, Douglas Eugene Ingram. He is survived by his brother Charles Dean Ingram; nieces and nephews, Ann Marie Nash (Victor), Billy Oyler (Cathy), Effie Prior (Carlton); and ten great-nieces and nephews.

A memorial ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Bliley's- Chippenham, 6900 Hull St. Rd., Richmond, VA, 23224. The family welcomes anyone to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any local cancer organization of your choice.
