James Lovelace

September 22, 1948 - July 26, 2024

James J. Lovelace Jr., from Holly Springs, NC, passed away on July 26, 2024. Born September 22, 1948, in Richmond, VA, Jim was the son of the late James J. Lovelace Sr. and Maude F. (Baker) Lovelace. He was a dedicated husband to Gail for 54 years; a proud father to three sons, Michael (Carolyn), Robert (Amber), and Jeffrey (Shanann); and a loving grandfather to seven grandchildren.

He is also survived by his stepmother, Lana Brayley; sister, Cheryl (Bob) Douthat; and brother, Steve Lovelace. A 1970 West Point graduate, he served his country honorably in the U.S. Army for 39 years.

We are so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We know that he was sick for a while.
The Hunt Center, Fit Advantage, is where we met. He was so distinguished looking.
