Jim was a great mentor and friend. He helped everyone. One of few senior human resources executives that was active in the local SHRM chapter. What an active participant in so many organizations. He help a lot with their human resources careers. So optimistic. I loved his "Virginia´s Smallest eNewspaper". What a difference he made. And he will be missed.

My sincerest sympathy to Jim's loved ones --- I have known Jim since he began at State-Planters & enjoyed our friendship through the years, seeing him most recently when he spoke at The Shepherds Center of Richmond. I've been a fan of his delightful Smallest Newsletter and the remarkably appropriate motivational quotes he published for all to enjoy. All who knew Jim will miss him and the joy he added to one's life! My sincerest sympathy is expressed for the loss we feel in not having him with us!

So sorry to hear of this loss. I knew Jim from a local coaching group that we were part of back in 2011. I always remember him as being very encouraging to me as a first time coach. I learned a lot from him. He was always willing to share his knowledge with us in the group. Sending prayers to you on the loss of such a nice man!
